Initial data in this case is an SRT-file, and output data contains a list of subpictures in BMP format and SST-file for Sonic Scenarist. SST-file is a text file which sets up correspondence between an image file name and the time when it is shown on the screen. So, with this small tool you can create subtitles from "0" within seconds. FREE Audio Recording Software
Lately I have been asked where I someone could find some FREE Audio Recording Software to record songs of their own. Well I have come across these 3 software programs. I hope this works for eevryone out there trying to record their own music to get up on the net or on to a CD. Peace my friends. Geronimo Rubio.
The Free, Cross-Platform Sound Editor
Audacity® is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems. Learn more about Audacity... Also check our Wiki and Forum for more information.
The latest release of Audacity is 1.3.7 (Beta). Because it is a work in progress and does not yet come with complete documentation or translations into foreign languages, it is recommended for more advanced users. See New Features in 1.3 for more information about the 1.3.x Beta series.

The Audacity Team is pleased to announce the release of Audacity 1.3.7 (Beta) for Windows, Mac and Linux/Unix.
This is primarily a bug-fix release. It significantly improves stability and usability, especially on Mac OS X, but incorporates some new features too.
Cross-Platform Bug Fixes include:
- Muting/soloing caused incorrect channel results in exported stereo files
- Effects: Noise Removal added unwanted paste and filtering tail; Nyquist effects added unwanted paste, had no progress bar, and truncated audio if canceled
- Exports:
- Export as WAV could be corrupted if overwriting to same file, uncompressed Export Multiple only produced 16-bit WAV
- MP3 and WMA now export correctly with all supported metadata
- Restored support for multi-channel recording devices that can record more than two channels using Audacity
Platform-specific Bug Fixes:
- Windows Vista: fixed crash opening Preferences
- Mac OS X and Linux: fixes for spurious clipping, label typing, no shortcuts after running effects, project rate when importing files
- Mac OS X only: fixes for inactive or corrupted menus and hidden dialogues, portable settings not detected, inability to set independent Command and Control shortcuts; FFmpeg installer now available
New Features and other changes:
- F11 Full Screen mode, high-quality "Sliding Time Scale/Pitch Shift" effect, Audio Contrast Analyzer
- Windows: sound devices can now be opened using the more efficient DirectSound API
- As a first step towards improving latency correction, a fixed rather than variable correction is now applied

GIMP 2.4
GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

You simply select or drag and drop folders containing images or movie files onto JAlbum, and it creates thumbnails and HTML pages to publish your images as a gallery or as a picture slide show. The galleries are based on various templates, and their appearance can be further customized by advanced users. The application’s additional features include support for IPTC/EXIF data, style sheets, lossless image manipulation, pluggable image filters, and a built-in FTP/SFTP client.
Version 8 adds full drag and drop support, image-editing tools, faster image scaling, and many other new features and fixes.
